The countryside house, new seat of the restaurant, has been completely restored and furnished by the chef and owner Gianfranco Massolino, in the desire to reproduce the warmth and the charm of Piedmont’s old countryside in a new and elegant environment.
Menu
The care for ingredients – especially mushrooms and truffles – is outstanding. Along with Piedmont’s traditional recipes obviously proposed in according to the suitable season, Gianfranco Massolino likes to propose international cuisine’s great classics, especially fish and foie gras.
The wines
Trattoria della Posta offers a wide choice of labels. The outmost care is devoted to local wines, especially the great wines of Langhe. Monforte is indeed one of the town of the Barolo wine-producers.
